Common Questions

Thursday tutoring FAQ.

Is this a weekly group class?

No. Each Thursday is a private, appointment-based session for one photographer, two friends, or one private group of up to four people. You do not have to begin on a certain Thursday or commit to a full course.

Do I need an expensive camera?

No. Bring the camera you currently own. The purpose of tutoring is to help you understand and use your equipment more confidently before you spend money on unnecessary upgrades.

Can I learn more than one subject?

You may ask related questions, but each two-hour appointment should have one primary learning objective. Students who want a structured sequence across several subjects should consider the Four-Thursday Accelerator.

Is a model included?

A model is not included in the base price because many students do not need one. A professional model may be added for portrait or posing practice, starting at $125 and paid in advance.

Can I bring my own person to photograph?

Yes, when appropriate for the selected lesson. Tell us on the intake form so the session can be planned properly. A subject who is not receiving photography instruction does not count as an additional tutoring participant.

What happens after I submit the form?

360ism will review your goals and preferred date, confirm availability, and send a payment link. Your Thursday is secured only after the session is confirmed and full payment is received.

One Thursday can replace weeks of guessing.

I’m not sure what I expected from this class. I’ve watched many U-Tube videos on the subject and I guess expected the same thing, white marker board and a lecture on the triangle. I was surprised with the hands on exercises and feel it’s what you can’t get from a video.
